The pharmacy manager also shared an informative video of herself applying the Eco by Sonya Driver products to her skin, confirming she now incorporates oils, serums and cleansers into her daily routine.

“I have been using Eco Sonya for a while now and their products have helped dramatically changed what I see in the mirror,” she said.

“I’ve gone from having big puffy cystic breakouts to finally having my skin at a level I’m comfortable with. You probably know by now that I am a huge advocate for using natural/organic products over ones that use large amounts of chemicals and this award-winning brand has not disappointed!”

Before joining the dating experiment, Vanessa— who used to date former MAFS star Bronson Norrish— spoke candidly about being relentlessly teased growing up, revealing her skin condition shattered her self confidence.

“It was pretty hard going through two decades with really bad skin. I was just that skinny acne girl. I was a very late bloomer to develop into something somewhat attractive,” she told Nine, adding she used to have large pimples that “grew out the side of my chin”.

“People tend to pick out your imperfections, and I’ve got a lot of them. It damaged me and I don’t think anybody would be truly satisfied with this.”

So it comes as no surprise the 31-year-old was deeply offended when co-star Michael Goonan made fun of her flare-ups. After sharing a promotional photo of herself to her Instagram page, according to Get Real Entertainmentthe controversial businessmen commented:  “I love you babe but let’s fix your face then work out getting you a husband.”

Speaking out about his nasty insult, Vanessa told Get Real Entertainment: “What type of human would post a comment like that knowing what I have been through? How could someone be so arrogant. It really shows the character of the person. He obviously didn’t think about the repercussions. I have had to deal with these sorts of insensitive remarks since I was 11 years old. You have no idea how difficult that has been.”

She continued: “I just want to tell Goonan that not everything is a joke and words actually matter and they hurt. If you can’t show respect to someone who’s been through what I have in my life you are no better than just a bully.”
