The first pressure test of MasterChef Australia 2018 Finals Week saw the bottom three contestants from Sunday night’s invention test, Sashi, Chloe and Jess, line up for what was their last time in the kitchen for one of them.
The elimination challenge was set by Ashley Palmer-Watts from The Fat Duck and Dinner By Heston in London and Melbourne, with the contestants having four hours and forty-five minutes to recreate his sherried marron.

Despite Gary saying that all three had done “surprisingly well”, unfortunately for Chloe the judges rated her dish as the least impressive.
“You’ve grown so much throughout this incredible competition,” George remarked.
Jess and Sashi now join Khahn and Ben in Tuesday night’s advantage challenge.
