After weeks of challenges, eliminations and many mystery boxes, it’s now down to Sashi Cheliah and Ben Borsht to cook to be crowned winner of MasterChef Australia 2018.
The winner of Tuesday night’s grand finale will not only walk away with the title, but take home a huge prize of $250,000.
Before the champion is chosen, Ben and Sashi will cook in two rounds, creating three courses.
The first round will see the top two make an entrée and main for Gary, George and Matt uses an ingredient chosen by the judges.
The boys will have have an open pantry, use of the garden is in play and 90 minutes to get the dishes ready to be served to the judges. After tasing the food, Matt, Gary and George will score each separate dish out of 10.
The pressure is most definitely on in round two, as Ben and Sashi must recreate an incredible Heston Blumenthal dish, served at his restaurant The Fat Duck.
Like the first round, the judges plus Heston will score their dishes out of 10. Finally, the contestants with the most points will be crowned the winner of MasterChef Australia for 2018.
