While fans of the couple have been anxiously awaiting news of their Covid-delayed nuptials, it seems plans might have changed to bring the big day forward.
The pair arrived in Bali two weeks ago with their daughters, Marlie Mae and Lola, in tow.
But in the weeks that have followed, more and more friends and family have joined them – including both their mothers, Laura’s sister, their nieces and nephews, as well as Laura’s close friend and Life Uncut podcast co-host, Brittany Hockley.
But the real proof was in Laura’s most recent post, which featured two loved-up selfies with Matty.
“Just two kids who are most definitely not getting married in Bali,” she captioned it.
“YOU MEAN I CAME HERE FOR NOTHING?” Brittany commented, all in capitals.
“I paid 2 million rupiah to have a suit made from Indonesian linen. Please tell me you’re kidding,” joked their friend Mitch Churi.
Fellow Bachelor star Sam Wood also commented, writing “Best wedding ever guys. Can’t believe you kept it a secret 👏👏👏.”
We’re calling it: if they’re not married already, they will be very soon.
Last we heard of their wedding plans, Laura had chosen a dress from Khya Studios, who also designed her 2018 TV WEEK Logie Awards dress.
Their jaunt down the aisle has been a long time coming, with the couple getting engaged in 2019 while on a babymoon in Fiji before their first daughter was born.

“There’s absolutely no one else I’d rather grow old and senile with. I can’t wait to start a family together and now I can’t wait to be your husband! ❤️💍,” Matty wrote when he shared the news on Instagram.
“You are my favourite everything @matthewdavidjohnson. YES to a lifetime of love and flamboyant dance moves with you my honey 💍❤️,” Laura wrote when she shared the news herself.
However, the arrival of Marlie Mae, then Lola, then a couple of Covid delays, meant the pair have been holding off for some time.
Matty and Laura met on the 2017 season of The Bachelor, where Matty chose Laura as his person in the finale, marking the beginning of their relationship.
They have been fan-favourites ever since due to their candour, chemistry, and funny content about their lives as parents.
Congratulations to Matty and Laura if they have, indeed, gotten married behind our backs!
