The pair are starring in a new movie that promises drama, style, and of course, a little bit of chaos, basically everything you want from a Charli XCX soundtrack come to life.

What is The Moment about?
Charli XCX’s upcoming film, The Moment, is a mockumentary-style drama that delves into the life of a rising pop star on the verge of her first major arena tour.
Charli XCX not only stars in the film but also co-wrote the screenplay with Bertie Brandes and serves as a producer through her company, Studio365.
In an interview with Variety, the singer shared her experience filming The Moment, describing it as a personal and transformative journey.
Who is in the cast of The Moment?
Directed by Aidan Zamiri, the film features a diverse cast, including Kylie Jenner, Alexander Skarsgård, Rosanna Arquette, Rachel Sennott, and Jamie Demetriou.
Kylie Jenner has now shared on her sister Khloe Kardashian’s podcast that she will be playing herself in the upcoming film, which is “based on an original idea” from Charli XCX.
“It’s major, obviously,” Kylie said. “Oh my god. For the Charli movie coming out, I was — Khloé, I was so scared for days to actually do it. I had a very small part. I mean, I had a lot of lines, but I was just so afraid.”
“I think I used to do a lot more things out of my comfort zone, and now I’m used to being very sheltered, staying in like a, you know, safe box for me,” she continued. “It’s probably the reason why I don’t share as much, just to not be judged or criticised or — years of that takes a toll on you and I think at a certain point you’re like, ‘Okay, I’m going to do A, B, and C to just protect myself’ … I was very scared to do this and very proud of myself when I did it.”
Why is Kylie Jenner in The Moment?
Kylie Jenner is set to make her feature film acting debut.
She will be playing herself in the film, but further details are yet to be revealed.
Jenner also makes a cameo in A.G. Cook’s music video for the song, Residue, which is a soundtrack off The Moment.
And although Charli XCX is the main feature of the video, the clip ends with Kylie posing for the camera- and she is “the moment.”
The track drops this Friday!

The movie is set to be released on Friday, January 30, 2026.
