Nasty scammers are currently fooling Netflix users into handing over their credit card details via an e-mail that looks very legitimate.
An Irish TV producer, author and broadcaster Maia Dunphy shared screenshots on her twitter account with an email she had received from what appeared to be Netflix asking her to update her credit card deets.
Very convincing Netflix scam folks… Got this email which linked to a fake Netflix page looking for updated card details. pic.twitter.com/dyO5dLwYhv

Although the email looked real, you’ll notice that the email address wasn’t Netflix related.
If you receive one of these emails, check to ensure that it is a certified Netflix email first and if you’re still unsure, contact a Netflix rep to confirm its authenticity.
