Nick ‘The Honey Badger’ Cummins has confessed he knows the exact moment he knew he would be rejecting both Bachelor finalists.
In a sneak peak of his the Sunday Project interview with Lisa Wilkinson, the footy player says the realisation hit him ‘like a thunderbolt.’
‘When did you know that you weren’t going to pick someone?’ Lisa asks.
‘It hit me with like, a fair bit of a thunderbolt,’ the 30 year old responds.
‘It was just like, you know what, out of respect to these women,’ he said, adding that he was not in love with either of the finalists.
‘If I can’t stand here and say, “I’m picking her and I love her”, if I can’t say that, why would I start something with someone?’
Nick shocked the nation on Thursday night when he dumped finalists Sophie and Brittany, offering both heartbroken ladies a near identical explanation stating he was not ready to put 100 per cent into a relationship.
