Oscar winning actress Nicole Kidman has revealed exciting new details about the much anticipated second series of Big Little Lies.
The 50-year told Sydney Confidential, “It’s coming to you at the beginning of next year.”

“We’re hoping it will be really good, it won’t be for lack of trying let me tell you,” she added.
Nicole also thanked Australia for their incredible support adding:
“And thank you to Foxtel for putting so much behind it and yes we do have Meryl Streep in the second series and that’s all I can tell you.”
The second season is set to delve into the ‘the malignancy of lies, the durability of friendships, the fragility of marriage and, of course, the vicious ferocity of sound parenting’.

Starring Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon and Laura Dern this season will see the introduction of Mary Louise Wright, Nicole Kidman’s mother-in-law played by Meryl Streep.
“Woodley’s character Jane Chapman will be processing Perry’s sudden death in the storyline, while trying to build a new life for herself and her son, Ziggy,” the writer and executive producer David E Kelly explained.
“Dern, who received both an Emmy and Golden Globe for her performance, will be reprising her role as Renata Klein, a woman who will be faced with new challenges in her marriage,” he added,
He also explained that Bonnie Carlson, Zoë Kravitz’s character, will confront her past while struggling to come to terms with Perry’s death.
