Netflix has dropped a new trailer for the final season of Orange Is The New Black.
Season 7 will see the end of the Netflix hit, which is also one of streaming giant’s most rewatched shows.
How will the story end for Piper Chapman, Taystee, and Crazy Eyes?
The trailer opens with an angry Taystee (Danielle Brooks) who can be heard saying “When you make a bad choice, what you’ve done can be its own punishment.”
Last season saw Taystee defending herself against the death of Desmond “Desi” Piscatella (Brad William Henke).
Crazy Eyes (Uzo Aduba) and Tiffany Doggett (Taryn-Manning) look shocked by something, with Crazy Eyes saying “Oh my goodness.”
We also see flashes of Alex Vause (Laura Prepon), Dayanara Diaz (Dascha Polanco), and Gloria Mendoza (Selenis Leyva).
The OITNB promo teased what life is like for Piper Chapman (Taylor Schilling) after her release from Litchfield Penitentiary.
“I recently got out of federal prison and I’m trying to get back on my feet,” Piper says in the trailer.
The OITNB character looks unhappy as she goes about her life outside of jail, taking drug tests and working in an office.
There is a comical moment where a woman asks the former inmate if she is “allowed to hold a weapon,” during an archery class.
Sophia Burset (Laverne Cox) is also seen doing the Piper’s hair at a salon.
“Maybe this is the beginning of a road back,” Chapman says. “There’s gotta be a way back.”
The OITNB character also visits Alex in Litchfield after their wedding in prison.
Cindy Hayes (Adrienne C. Moore) is told by Joe Caputo (Nick Sandow) to focus on what she can fix.
The warden of Litchfield is also seen laughing with his love interest Natalie Figueroa (Alysia Reiner).
The trailer includes both old and new OITNB scenes, with familiar faces like Sophia, Healy, Big Boo, Sister Ingalls and Poussey popping up.
The final season of OITNB wrapped up filming in late February.
“My heart is full and achey and so overflowing with gratitude I’m a little dizzy,” series star Taylor Schilling wrote. “These extraordinary people have forever changed me. Privilege of a lifetime.
With lots of hugs, laughter and tears, the trailer seems to suggest a positive ending to Netflix hit Orange Is The New Black.
The premiere date for the final season of OITNB is Friday, July 26.
