Paul is married to Syd Widziszewski-Kelly but the couple are relatively private so it is not known when exactly they met/
He did post on Instagram to celebrate their one-year anniversary after tying to knot back in May 2023.
“One year ago we tied the proverbial knot and since that day I have been the happiest and healthiest I think I’ve ever been,” he captioned a series of photos in May 2024. “I love you more than words will ever do justice. To several lifetimes more… X.”
The couple have remained mainly out of the spotlight since they first began dating, but made their first red carpet debut at the Met Opera Opening Night Gala on September 21, 2025.
Who is Syd Widziszewski-Kelly?
Although her husband is in front of the cameras, Syd prefers to be on the other side and works as a freelance production coordinator.
She has worked on both C’mon C’mon (2021) and Don’t Worry Darling (2022) – the psychological thriller that had that infamous cast fallout with Olivia Wilde, Chris Pine, Harry Styles and Florence Pugh.
In a recent 2026 interview about Love Story with Glamour, Paul shared that his wife has been “present for making the vast majority” of the series.
Answering whether his wife was ready for his status to skyrocket to stardom, he replied simply: “I don’t know if anyone’s prepared for what might happen. We’ll see. We’re just taking it in stride, and I’m so lucky for this wonderful support system.”
Does Paul Anthony Kelly have children?
The couple welcomed their first baby together in January.
Speaking about the day he found out his wife was pregnant, Paul told Interview that it was the same day he found out he had secured the role of JFK Jr.
“May 1st was a big day,” he gushed.
“I do the Zoom, and right before we’re about to go for dinner for our second wedding anniversary, she tells me we’re pregnant.”
The actor also told the outlet that when the show finished filming, they planned to return home to Portland and “start nesting” in preparation for their baby.

Almost three decades after their death, the romance and lives of John F. Kennedy Jr and wife, Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy, continue to fascinate and captivate the world.
So it comes as no surprise that the tragic tale caught the eye of Ryan Murphy.
Love Story is a scripted anthology drama series that focuses on “sweeping true love stories that captured the world’s attention”.
The first season is based on the lives of JFK Jr and his wife Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy. After meeting JFK Jr in 1992 through her employment as a publicist with Calvin Klein, Carolyn married him four years later.
But thrust into the limelight and photographed everywhere she went, life turned out to be no fairytale.
In 1996, the couple were papped in the middle of a fight at Washington Square Park – the shocking images making the front page of the National Enquirer.
And when her life was tragically cut short in 1999, she and JFK Jr were attending marriage counselling and living apart.
