Pink has been forced to postpone one of her Sydney shows due to illness.
The singer, who is currently in Australia for her Beautiful Trauma World Tour, took to Twitter on Thursday to share the news that her Friday August 3 concert at Qudos Bank Arena is officially postponed.
“Hi my Sydney friends. It is with great frustration that I bring you this news:( Friday’s show will be postponed,” she wrote.
“I was hoping a couple of days of rest would help me kick this sick, but not at the speed I was hoping for. I appreciate your well wishes and understanding + I’m sorry.”
Ticketek Australia revealed that Pink is suffering from an upper respiratory infection and was told by medical expert not to perform. Tour promoter Live Nation is working to reschedule the show, with further information to be released soon.
In a follow-up Tweet, the ‘What About Us’ singer asked fans for recommendations on places to go for fresh juices and wellness shots.
“Sydney friends: does anyone have a favorite place that makes wellness shots and fresh juices for when I get there? Thanks in advance. And how do we feel about Neti- pots. They scare me.”
Pink kicked off her 46-show Australian tour in Perth on July 3 to rave reviews, and has since performed in Adelaide and Melbourne.
She was due to perform her first one of nine Sydney shows on Friday.
