The Bachelor runner up took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a cryptic paragraph about letting people go and moving on.
“Don’t miss something that can no longer be,” Abbie, 24, captioned the lengthy post.
The paragraph began: “The hardest thing you will have to do in life is to let go of the people you may want to hold onto.”
“Sometimes, you will have to settle for loving someone from a distance, and that is okay. It is okay.”
Abbie’s heartfelt post went on to remind people to appreciate the lessons that come from a broken heart, and to be grateful for what that period of time was.
Fans were reminded that the former property analyst was dumped by astrophysicist Matt Agnew in the Bachelor finale, when he instead chose to build a relationship with Chelsie McLeod.
Abbie’s post comes as the star is set to appear on Bachelor in Paradise early next year.
Filming wrapped for the Bachelor spin-off, and sources have revealed who finds love on the show.
According to Channel Ten’s programming boss, Daniel Monaghan has said that not only is this season drama-packed, it’s also got a few success stories. Finally!
“We love the drama, but to have love at the end of it as well is really refreshing,” Monaghan said in an interview with TV Blackbox.
“It’s been a stellar, stellar season of Paradise over in Fiji, we’ve got some really good cast over there.”
“We’re really comfortable with how that’s landed and the love that’s come out of it, at the end,” he added.
