Ciarran Stott’s antics on Bachelor in Paradise this year certainly didn’t do great things for his public image.

His behaviour towards his ex Renee Barrett, as well as Paradise flings Abbie Chatfield and Jessica Brody, showed a new side of the controversial Manchurian to Australian audiences.
Since then, he’s been dubbed the “bad boy of reality TV” by female fans who are less-than-impressed with his philandering behaviour.
And those same fans certainly had a lot to say when Ciarran confirmed this week that he wouldn’t attempt to go back on the popular reality TV program for a second time, next year.
Channel 10 has already begun casting the 2021 season of Bachelor in Paradise, but Ciarran says he won’t be putting his hand up.
In response to one of his Instagram followers who asked, “Will you go on BIP again?” during a Q&A session, Ciarran said: “The Australian one? Not a f***ing chance. Never again. Noooo.”
When the clip was reposted on Instagram by celebrity website The Wash, dozens of fans absolutely roasted Ciarran in the comments section, indicating they would be keen to see the back of the 26-year-old.
“No one wants to see him again… on BIP or anywhere else!” one fan wrote, while another said, “Are we supposed to be sad about that?”
Others wrote, “Thank god”, and “No wants to see him, so that’s perfect 👌.”
One person labelled Ciarran a “tool” that “needs to grow up”, while another begged, “Can we please stop giving him air time?”
Rumours are already swirling about exactly which former The Bachelor and The Bachelorette contestants will head to Paradise this year.
Interestingly, both 2019 Bachelor and Bachelorette winners Chelsie McLeod and Carlin Sterritt are reportedly top of 10’s list.
Chelsie first gave fans a hint that she was about to star on BIP when she posted a message on her private Facebook account announcing she looking to sublet her apartment over a three-month period later in the year.
“Is anybody interested in leasing a fully furnished apartment in Elwood for three months? October til December?” Chelsie wrote on Facebook.
Bachelor in Paradise is usually filmed over this same three-month period in summer.
If Carlin were to appear on the show, it certainly wouldn’t be the first time he’s been linked to one of the other programs in the Bachelor stable.
Carlin recently confessed that he originally auditioned to be the Bachelor himself, rather than as a contestant.
Other names being floated include several eliminated contestants from Locky Gilbert’s season of The Bachelor, including Zoe-Clare McDonald, Charley Bond, Juliette Herrera, Laura Calleri, Leilani Vakaahi, Maddy Carver, Marg Zogoulas, Bel Colwell, Rosemary Sawtell and Roxi Kenny.
Some of the other Bachelor nation cast members rumoured to return to Paradise again include Paddy Colliar, Jackson Garlick and Renee Barrett.
With COVID travel bans and border closures putting a restriction on overseas and even interstate travel, there is speculation the show could be shot in a New South Wales or Queensland beachside location, such as Noosa.
