Is it getting hot in here? Because Timm Hanly and Carlin Sterritt have met with Angie Kent’s family and they got a serious grilling!

As The Bachelorette finale kicked off, we couldn’t wait to watch the boys squirm as they sat down with Angie’s brothers and parents to face some seriously tough questions.
And first cab off the rank Timm seemed to start off on the back foot when her dad Mark said he worried that the larrikin was “just there for the ride”.
“I’m super-nervous,” admitted a fidgety Timm to camera.
“I don’t want to put a foot out of line here. I want Angie’s family to believe that I am 100 percent genuine. And I think I’m charming. I try and be charming. I’m maybe not. I’m probably not charming, actually.”
Aww, we think you’re charming, Timm!
But Carlin had Mark concerned too – despite his status as ‘Mr Perfect’!
“He ain’t no ugly-looking rooster, he’s a good-looking lad. He probably coulda run amok for a long time,” Dad summed up ahead of the hunk’s arrival.
Meanwhile, Angie’s brother Bradley was more concerned that he wouldn’t be able to make Ange laugh the way Timm could.
“When I first met Carlin, I thought he was a very genuine, down-to-earth fella that maybe didn’t have that sense of humour side of things that obviously is a big part of our family and Angie. Obviously I want to delve into that and find out more.”
And things took a turn for the awkward when Angie’s mum Jane called him Timm…
“So Timm… Oh! I just called him Timm!” Jane exclaimed as the group gasped… and then broke into laughter.
Well, except for Carlin!
“Oh, God. Angie’s mum calls me Timm.
“At least it wasn’t Angie.”
It wasn’t the first time the boys had met the family, after Bradley entered the mansion on night one to act as a spy for his sister.
Angie told 10 Daily, she was “so stoked” Brad was able to get involved with the process.
“He was, technically – what the boys thought – there to win my love,” she said before adding, “Sounds so creepy when I say it out loud that my brother was there to date me.”
While the former Gogglebox star was getting to know her suitors, Bradley was getting an insider’s look at the guys and what they were saying behind her back.
His true identity was later revealed by host Osher Gunsburg.
“No one knew,” Angie said. “No one knew until Osher stood there and was like, ‘There’s someone here that’s not supposed to be here.’ Everybody just shat themselves.”
“He handled it so well and I’m so happy to have him there,” Angie said. “To have that secret insider to tell me what he thought of the guys, the locker room talk. It was a game-changer.”
At the end of the day, Angie’s family would’ve loved either Carlin or Timm to join their tribe – but only one man could win Angie’s heart.
After letting a broken-hearted Timm go, Angie dried up her tears and prepared to let Carlin in on the news that he had won her heart.
“I can’t imagine this experience without you,” she told him as the pair stood, surrounded by lush Byron Bay bushland.
“From the red carpet, I felt so calm and I never feel calm straightaway, especially with a guy. I get in my head and I haven’t allowed myself to be like that. And you did. There was something about you. There was no doubt in my mind at all who I wanted to give that first date to. It was you.”
Taking to social media, Angie added:
“Thank-you for fighting for us and knowing what we have was real and pure from the very beginning. You are exactly what I wanted and more coming into this. I love you my Noh Noh.”
