It was clear the 22-year-old had formed a special bond with Farmer Brenton, who couldn’t contain his emotions as he told her he had fallen for someone else.

Now, as the contestants regain control of their social media accounts, Rachel has given fans an update on life after the show.

“My Farmer Wants a Wife journey was nothing short of amazing,” penned the Perth native, who joined the 2023 FWAW season alongside her twin sister Chelsea.

“What a crazy emotional roller coaster of self-growth, friendships and many lessons learnt, I am beyond grateful for this experience and stepping outside of my comfort zone and trying new and exciting things I’ve learnt to love.”

“Heartbreak is tough (especially on national TV) but time heals all and I wouldn’t be the person I am today without the experience,
she continued. “I am so thankful for some of the best friends and memories made that will last a lifetime!”

“Also, thank you to our little onset farmer crew for being there for me right till the very end and making me laugh always you guys are amazing!”

Signing off the post, Rachel ended with the hashtag “Chapter Closed.”

“Meeting Brenton and going through this experience has been one of the best things I’ve done. It was a fun and emotional adventure, both at the time and then watching back on.”

“I was lucky to be joined by some strong and beautiful women who put their heart on the line and supported me as I did the same. To hold respect for each other in such strange circumstances shows how special they all are!”

“I’ve lived in Darriman for over 5 months now. Having that secret out of the bag has been a huge relief. I cannot wait to continue enjoying life on the farm and be able to finally share what that looks like,” she continued.

“The friendship we formed was my favourite part! Proud of you soph, ily,” replied Rachel.
