Speaking to WHO, she admits: “I’ve done extra work on Made in Chelsea.”
Although excited to join Love Island Australia for Season 2, Cassie reveals she was also apprehensive about how an Australian audience would react to her on the show.
“I was thinking, ‘They’re definitely not going to want me on there because I’m not Australian,’” the London-born executive assistant says.
In terms of her own viewing, Cassie admits she has preferred watching the Australian series to the original UK version, based on the theatrics in Season 1 of Love Island Australia.
“I like them both but I feel like the Australian one was a little bit more dramatic between the cast,” she says. “The girls got along better in the English one.”
Asked if she expects to cause some drama in the Fijian villa herself, Cassie laughs. “I reckon they’re going to try and amp up the drama,” she says.
“The thing is, I know quite quickly if I’m going to like someone or not.”
And the 27-year-old aims to stay genuine while spending time abroad with potential love interests. “I don’t want to be mean,” she says.
“As long as I’m honest about what I’m doing and [make it clear] what my intentions are. If someone doesn’t like me for who I am, I’m just going be as authentic as possible. So, f–k them.”
