Love Island Australia has returned! The scintillating reality dating series is making its way back to Mallorca, Spain for its fifth season, and if the first episode is any indication, this season promises to be an absolute rollercoaster.
Similar to last year, season five has been pre-recorded. While some fans initially worried that this new approach might lack excitement, the first episodes have managed to pleasantly surprise many sceptics.
The premiere introduced 10 singles eager to connect and also featured an unexpected twist where the girls were in charge of making the first matches of the season, not the guys, like in previous seasons.
The following week several bombshells entered the villa and wreaked havoc on the ‘initial couples.’
