It’s almost time to dust off your aprons – MasterChef Australia is back for 2025!
Returning to our screens with a brand new twist, the upcoming season will see 24 contestants who have competed from Season 1 to Season 16 make their first (or second) comeback to the MasterChef kitchen.
This year’s lineup features many fan favourites, such as social media chefs Steph de Sousa and Declan Cleary, and several contestant-turned-judges – including MasterChef Singapore and Asia’s Audra Morrice and MasterChef India’s Depinder Chhibber.

While their previous success in the MasterChef kitchen may be varied, judges Poh Ling Yeow, Andy Allen, Sofia Levin, and Jean-Christophe Novelli will be back to guide the contestants on their latest cook for glory alongside guest judge Gordon Ramsay.
With their second chance at the title and $250,000 prize on the line, the contestants are eager to bring the competition to another level.
As we count down the days until the first cook-off, scroll down to meet the contestants of MasterChef Australia 2025.
