After struggling to find love on Bachelor in Paradise, Michael Turnbull confirms he is happily in a relationship with real estate agent, Natasha Candyce.
The pair met him in January of this year at the opening of a Melbourne restaurant and went on to secretly date for a total of nine months.
While they’ve only been official for a little over a week, the reality TV star couldn’t be happier.
Even though Michael says it was “refreshing not to date in front of cameras”, the couple did have a few hiccups along the way as his short-lived stint in Bachelor in Paradise left Natasha feeling insecure when girls would literally throw themselves at her beau.
“It would be hard when girls would come up to him and be all flirty. Especially when we made appearances at nightclubs, I couldn’t walk in with him and couldn’t leave with him and was hard for me because obviously girls would think he was single and we had this relationship that was hidden.”
Michael, who came runner-up in Sam Frost season’s of The Bachelorette, says he bumped into the Home and Away actress a couple of months ago at the races but they’re not in regular contact.
‘I consider her an acquaintance, I’d say hello if I saw her in the street but I certainly wouldn’t give her a call and take her for a drink or anything like that,’ said Michael.
‘No you wouldn’t,’ Natasha quipped.
‘See I’d get into trouble,’ added Michael.
