The Block’s controversial couple Jason and Sarah walked away with $387,000 but fans aren’t happy with the outcome.
Last nights finale saw young guns Josh and Elyse pocket a huge $447,000 from the sale of their Elsternwick home, plus an extra $100,000 for taking out the competition.
As a shock to viewers, Jason and Sarah came in second place, profiting hundreds of thousands more than popular contestants Sticks and Wombats and professional renovators Ronnie and Georgia.
Viewers took to social media to vent their frustrations, noting that Jason and Sarah failed to complete rooms on time during the competition, slamming their ‘terrible’ work ethic and ‘laziness’.
Many fans also shared their disappointment at the couple walking away with a lot more money than Sticks and Wombat, Ronnie and Georgia and Hannah and Clint.
“So gutted for the hard workers that watched Jason & Sarah walk away with more than they deserved,” one Twitter user wrote.
Australian radio host and comedian Dave Hughes was the lucky bidder and new owner of Josh and Elyse’s home.
