No doubt about it: fireproofer Timm Hanly has been the dark horse of Angie Kent’s season of The Bachelorette.

From the moment he stepped onto the red carpet with the biggest bunch of sunflowers we’ve ever seen, the loveable larrikin has laughed and joked his way into Angie’s heart – and ours, tbh.
And now it looks like he’s ready to take the next step with the woman he loves.
At the end of a romantic – and characteristically hilarious – single date, the funnyman got serious, admitting to Angie his family plans.
“If I had a daughter…” he stuttered, clearly having trouble leaving the lols to one side for a few minutes.
“You have all the attributes that I’d want for my daughter to be growing up with as a mum. Do you know what I mean? Like, I look at you differently. Like, that’s what I… that’s the feeling I was looking for, but, like, it just feels right.”
Angie did seem to be – as Timm would say – ‘frothin’ for it’, but admitted she’s still not totally sure that the jokester is the one to play the baby daddy role in her life.
“I feel like, with this date with Timm, my feelings have grown even more because I’ve seen a side to him that I’ve never, like, thought I would see,” she said.
“But then there’s my fear of just taking that big old crazy risk.”
“I have such a good time with Timm, and we do have this weird kind of bond that is hard to describe,” she told producers.
“I guess I need to really find out: could it be a forever thing with Timm and I, or would we just love hard and fast and then drive each other crazy and part?”
The pair’s chemistry has been undeniable since his first single date.
“There’s still this big, weird question mark over Timm,” Angie admitted ahead of the event. “So I figured, let’s go on a single date and get to the bottom of this dude. I know he can be a goof but I’m just hoping that there’s a serious side to him, too.”
And, as we all know now, there most definitely is – and he’s showed it time and time again, which no doubt contributed to his making it to the final two.
“I have put everything on the line,” said Timm ahead of the penultimate rose ceremony.
“I’ve opened up to her like I’ve never opened up to anyone else.”
