Where is Dancing with the Stars filmed?
These days, Dancing with the Stars Australia is filmed at Disney Studios Australia – located in Moore Park, Sydney.
This is where the show has been based for most of its recent seasons, including the 2025 season.

Formerly known as Fox Studios, the site is part of a major production precinct and has hosted everything from blockbuster films to major reality TV shows.
The studios offer plenty of space for the elaborate ballroom set, large live audiences, and all the backstage chaos you don’t see on screen.
Where was the show previously filmed?
Before its Sydney era, the show was based in Melbourne.
From its debut in 2004 up until 2015, DWTS was filmed at Global Television Studios in Southbank – formerly called the HSV-7 studios.

At the time, this location was home to many of Channel 7’s flagship programs.
And while the Melbourne studio didn’t have quite the same production scale as Sydney’s current setup, it was still more than capable of handling the sequins, the scoring paddles, and the occasional celebrity stumble.
