At 51, Melbourne leasing manager Rebecca Zukowski is the 2026 experiment’s oldest bride described as a self-deprecating, no-nonsense fashionista who loves the finer things in life.
But after photos of her TV wedding to Steve Powell circulated online, fans had something to say.
Who is Rebecca’s MAFS husband?
Rebecca tied the knot in a sweet TV ceremony with her silver fox Steve and admitted that she “couldn’t be happier” with her match.
“I think we’re onto something good,” Steve told the cameras. “All the traits you look for in someone, I feel like Rebecca has. It’s beautiful!”
Fan account MAFS Gossip leaked photos of Rebecca and Steve’s big day at Sydney’s Centennial Park way back in July last year during filming.
But it was season eight groom Bryce Ruthven, who became one of the villains of his season, who remarked on the post, “The history of Rebecca’s & MAFS is concerning.”
So far she doesn’t seem to be too villainous, but as we know anything can happen.
Does Rebecca have children?
There is one special guy already in Rebecca’s life; her 19-year-old son Austin who recently moved out of home.
They may not be living under the same roof anymore but Austin proudly walked his mum down the aisle and gave his blessing.
“He’s charming, he’s nice, they seem to have clicked and had a great time together,” he said, adding that he feels quite “hopeful” of the relationship.
Was Rebecca married before?
Rebecca was previously married and confesses she didn’t expect to be single at this age.
She’s tried dating apps to no avail though prides herself on her high standards. But that doesn’t mean she’s after a rich hubby; Rebecca wants her partner to be an equal and can inject even more fun into her life.
Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, one of Rebecca’s closest pals shared what she’s really like in person.
“She’s got this larger-than-life energy and doesn’t tone herself down for anyone. We’re all so excited to see her on screen.”
A production insider added, “She’s a no-nonsense kind of woman. She says what everyone else is too scared to say. She’s going to make incredible television.”
