Rob, 78, and his wife Michele Singer have not been linked to the incident beyond ownership of the property. However, neighbours confirmed to the outlet that the couple do live in the home and match the ages of the deceased people.

A towering figure in Hollywood, Rob is best known for directing iconic films including The Princess Bride, When Harry Met Sally, and A Few Good Men, as well as his early acting career on All in the Family.

Rob was introduced to his second and current wife, photographer Michele, while directing When Harry Met Sally. The two tied the knot in 1989, and share three children- Jake (34), Nick (32), and Romy (28).

Sharing a sweet story of their beginnings, Rob once recalled that he spotted Michelle Pfeiffer on the cover of Premiere magazine and reportedly told the movie’s director of photography, Barry Sonnenfeld, that he was going to reach out to her.

However, Barry told Rob: “You’re not going to call her, you’re going to marry my friend, Michele Singer.”

In a 2016 interview with People, Nick spoke about his long battle with drug addiction that started in his early teens and eventually left him homeless.

He told the outlet that his stints in and out of rehab began around age 15, however, as his addiction worsened, he moved further away from home and spent large stretches of time homeless in other US states.

Nick told the outlet that the nights and sometimes weeks he spent sleeping outside later became the inspiration for the semi-autobiographical film Being Charlie, which he co-wrote.

“Now, I’ve been home for a really long time, and I’ve sort of gotten acclimated back to being in L.A. and being around my family,” Nick told the outlet at the time.
