Are Chrissy Teigen and Meghan Markle really friends?
Chrissy opened up about her affection for Meghan to People on October 11.
“I really adore her. I think she is so incredibly strong,” Chrissy said.

“It is insane to me how polarising she is for so many different people, when she really is just such a kind, good person that wants the best for all her friends and the best for people around her, and the best for her own relationship and for her children.”
Having known Meghan long before her royal or Suits days, Chrissy explained that she feels Meghan is misunderstood.
“People are just going to come up with their own story,” said the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model.
“I think it’s cool that [Meghan] is just like, ‘Listen, say whatever you want. I’m happy and I’m healthy and I feel good.’ “
How did Chrissy Teigen and Meghan Markle meet?
Chrissy and Meghan met while they were working as Deal or No Deal briefcase models.
The pair picked up a gig on the US version of the game show when they were just starting out in their careers.

They also attended the Celebrity Beach Bowl in February 2014.
Having fallen out of touch as their lives went in different directions, Meghan made the first move.
“I reached out and we reconnected just a couple years ago,” she explained on her Netflix lifestyle show.

As she joined her in the kitchen on With Love, Meghan, Chrissy looked back on their old job with fondness.
“I feel like our lives have had so many chapters and that one being a really important, really funny one,” Chrissy said. “I remember basically being a backup girl — the alternate!”
While the skimpy outfits she had to dress in then aren’t really part of her image now, Meghan revealed one big perk of the gig.
“I was just so happy to have health insurance,” she said.
What do Chrissy Teigen and Meghan Markle have in common?
Aside from their shared history, Chrissy and Meghan are both busy working mums.
Meghan shares Prince Archie, 6, and 4-year-old Princess Lilibet with husband Prince Harry.
Chrissy shares daughters Luna, 9, and Esti, 2, plus sons Miles, 7, and Wren, 2, with husband John Legend.

But despite the kids being around the same age, the friendship hasn’t extended to the families.
Chrissy revealed that the families don’t get together for play dates.
Chrissy told People that while that sounds like a fun idea, she doesn’t “leave the house.”
“I’m not joking,” she said. “I don’t go anywhere.”

Aside from their families, the pair have likely also bonded over their bullying scandals.
In 2021, Chrissy apologised to Courtney Stodden after she shared screenshots of messages that the model had sent her.
The statements ranged from “I hate you” to “go. to sleep. forever.”
“She wouldn’t just publicly tweet about wanting me to take ‘a dirt nap’ but would privately DM me and tell me to kill myself,” Courtney claimed in May 2021.
Meghan has also been accused of bullying, with former employers who fell victim to her alleged wrath reportedly dubbing themselves the Sussex Survivors Club.
