Appearing on the inaugural The Bachelorette in 2015 helped Sam Frost find love with construction manager Sasha Mielczarek.
But when it came to watching this year’s series, starring Georgia Love, the radio host she’s she didn’t tune in.
“I’m usually in bed by 7.30pm, so that didn’t help,” says Frost, who headlines WHO’s Most Intriguing People Issue.
However she also explains that after watching Nikki Gogan become runner up on The Bachelor, and how “emotionally traumatic” that was for the West Australian, she was put off watching another series.
“I was mad.” she tells WHO. “If the people behind-the-scenes knew how Nikki was feeling, and knew it would be really difficult to get over, surely they have a responsibility to let [The Bachelor] Richie know? Looking after their mental health is the most important thing.
”Although Frost, who co-hosts breakfast radio show Rove & Sam on 2dayFM, didn’t watch the show she’s met the “divine and beautiful” Love and is happy she’s found a partner in Lee Elliott, like she did with Mielczarek.
“It’s bizarre the circumstances we met but we are now like any other couple,” laughs Frost. “The difference is when we have kids we can go, “I can actually show you how Mum and Dad met!” And I can say I was a hoochie mama!”
