Home and Away actress, Samara Weaving has spoken out after nude photos surfaced online that were believed to be of her.
The star was targeted by US website, Celeb Jihad who specialises in posting racy photos of celebs.
At least 15 images claiming to be Samara were posted on the site, where she exposes her breasts and vagina via selfies taken in a mirror.
Now, the actress’ father has confirmed that the photos are fake.
“She has said they are doctored,” he said.
“We have been texting all morning, but haven’t spoke about the situation at length.”
He added: “I think the best theory with this sort of thing is not to give it oxygen.”
“I have told her to ignore it and to concentrate on her work,” he said. “She has been on set since 6am so she has other things to think about.”
Weaving is currently in Melbourne for the filming of the Foxtel drama, Picnic at Hanging Rock.
