Have Scott Disick and Sofia Richie secretly broken up?
When the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, 36, recently had a short stint in rehab, fans noticed that his 21-year-old girlfriend was spending a lot more time with friends and a rumoured new boyfriend.
Scott checked into a Colorado treatment centre, but left the facility after photos of himself at the centre were leaked.
However, a new report has revealed that no such break-up has occurred, and that Sofia is giving her boyfriend space following his treatment.
“After returning to Los Angeles, Scott has continued to receive treatment,” a source told PEOPLE.
“He is getting help for emotional issues. He is very focused on getting better.”
The source added: “Sofia still supports him. She understands that Scott is in a difficult situation. She is very proud that he is committed to dealing with his issues.”
According to the report, Sofia and Scott’s ex Kourtney Kardashian “encouraged him to get help.”
“He knew he was spiraling out of control and wanted to get help. He wants to be the best dad possible,” the insider revealed.
Scott and Kourtney share three children together – Mason, 10, Penelope, seven, and Reign, five.
Sofia has previously said to Scott that she will “never get between” him and his family, but Kourtney has stated that she and Scott are “soulmates in a sense.”
Though Scott said he didn’t want to disrespect his relationship with Sofia on an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, he did confess: “Whether Kourtney and I are soulmates or not, I feel like I owe a lot to Kourtney for the times that I missed when I wasn’t the best partner to her.
“So I feel like I will forever be making up for that lost time for the rest of her life.”
Reports surfaced in May 2017 that Scott and Sofia, who is 15 years his junior, had started dating.
The pair were spotted together on a yacht in Cannes, shortly after he was spotted kissing both Chloe Bartoli and Bella Thorne on the same Cannes trip.
Though Sofia denied dating rumours at the time, the couple were spotted the following month leaving Nobu together arm in arm.
