Selena Gomez dishes on her new album

In a live Instagram video, Selena Gomez revealed this morning that she’s working on new music, and an album is coming our way sooner than we anticipated.

“I’m just nervous about it, honestly,” she said after a fan asked what’s next for the singer. “‘Cause I feel like the next few choices that I’m gonna make are very crucial. So I’m trying to be really, really diligent and just patient with everything…the album is coming very soon.”

The 26-year-old was in the studio when she chatted to her fans, explaining that despite feeling anxious about releasing new tunes, she says it’s going “really, really good”.

The exciting news comes after Gomez dropped her new latest bop, Just Can’t Get EnoughThe hit tune— which was produced by Benny Blanco and featured J Balvin— was well received by fans, despite the simple lyrics.

Since her last LP Revival— which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200— the songstress has been collaborating with a number of artists to produce some very well rounded tracks! In 2016, Gomez featured in Charlie Puth’s “We Don’t Talk Anymore” (2016), Kygo’s “It Ain’t Me” (2017), Marshmello’s “Wolves” (2017) and DJ Snake’s “Taki Taki” (2018). She’s also dropped a few of her own singles including “Bad Liar” and “Fetish.”

The star has also been busy working on other projects and was recently praised for her role in the hit film Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation. Gomez has also faced a number of health complications and was forced to undergo a kidney transplant in 2017 after her lifelong battle with lupus.
