When the chips were down, there was one person who came to Ariana Grande’s defence – fellow singer Hasley.
Earlier this week, Grande posted a tribute to her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller, who died of an overdose in September 2018. Sadly, one Twitter user decided it was his place to judge her grieving process, claiming she was “milking” his death for attention and sympathy.
Offended by the vile comment, and fed up with social media trolls, the ‘Bad at Love’ singer weighed in on the controversy and clapped back.
“Man shut the f— up,” Hasley tweeted. “Ari the world could only dream of being as compassionate and gentle as you,” she continued. “And since ur being, as always, so classy and nice, allow me the honor of telling them to shut the f— up.”
Talk about friendship goals!
