As hundreds of celebrities rush to pack their belongings and evacuate their homes, Sofia Richie just proved she’s more worried about her hair than the deadly wildfires burning through California.

The girlfriend of Scott Disick is currently in the doghouse with many of her followers after she complained this morning about the smoky atmosphere ruining her messy bun and her impromptu outdoor photoshoot.
“Santa Ana winds- messy bun,” the model captioned two photos which showed her posing on an outdoor spiral staircase that was surrounded by shrubbery.
While a few members of the Kar-Jenner clan praised the 21-year-old for her cute outfit, her caption didn’t sit well with the majority of her fan base who accused her of being “rude” and “insensitive”.
“200,000 people evacuated and 2 million people without power, but okay go ahead and flex??” an angry fan wrote in the comments section of the post. “It seems like celebrities are in their own world and they don’t care about what’s happening. Could you be more insensitive”
“I just don’t understand why she would choose this caption??? These fires are taking place in her backyard! Her friends and fam are probably being evacuated as we speak.”
“And the fires. Don’t forget the fires,” another chimed in, reminding Sofia of the severity of the crisis and the devastation it has already caused.
Last night, multiple news outlets reported that the fierce Santa Ana winds were detrimental to the Getty Fire which broke out and forced over 10,000 people to leave their homes. As the blaze rapidly spread through a prestigious area in Southern California where dozens of celebrities live, stars like LeBron James, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Kate Beckinsale, Kurt Sutter were forced to evacuate.
While her strange post may come as a shock to some, Sofia is known for posting controversial photos on social media. Following in Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner’s footsteps, Sofia broke the internet earlier this month she broke the internet when she shared a topless photo to Instagram with the caption: “How’s your Thursday?”
As expected, the raunchy (yet aesthetically pleasing) picture— in which Sofia was wearing nothing but blue jeans— garnered a lot of attention from her fellow celebs.
But perhaps the best comment of all was her boyfriend Scott’s.
“It’s not bad thanks,” the Flip It Like Disick star, 36, wrote.
