In case you’ve been living under a rock or missed every episode of Married At First Sight, Stacey Hampton has a law degree under her belt.

However, after her lengthy stint on the controversial dating experiment, she’s struggling to find work. Speaking about her desire to advance her career, the once hopeful bride— who constantly used her degree as a weapon— says law firms aren’t hiring people who wish to work part-time.
“A lot of people ask why I’m not using my law degree, but not many law firms like to take on people who only want three days a week,” said the single mum who shares two children, Kosta and Kruz, with her Rebels bikie ex.

“If I did five days a week then I feel like I’m not being fair on my children and I’m not there for them. Being a single parent has impacted me quite a lot, but I’m also so blessed and wouldn’t have my life any other way.”
“I had a very supportive network. Their dad was very supportive. My mum was very supportive. And their godmother, who I went through law school with, was also very supportive. We would do the same classes, study together and make sure we’d go to the exams together,” she added.

Meanwhile, her ex-husband is focused on flaunting his romance with MAFS intruder, KC Osborne, telling New Idea they’ve been secretly dating for five weeks.
“It’s love. We have one hell of a journey ahead of us – everything is on the table. We even moved in together last week,” said the Adelaide dad who’s the managing director of his family’s commercial ice business.
Oh, and did we mention that after the burlesque dancer met his son Connor, they began discussing having children together? WILD!
“I think KC would be the best mum. A little dancing pop star! We are excited to start the next chapter,” said the party boy who caused quite the stir on this season of the experiment.

Contrary to popular belief, their love story began after Michael split from Stacey, with KC hitting back at her claims she tried to pursue him while they were in the midst of working things out.
As we know, Stacey once said: “She went behind my back and proceeded to see Michael after he broke my heart. KC and I are now no longer friends.”
“We didn’t hook up during filming. No, but we got along really well. And we both thought each other was attractive so we remained friends after the experiment and shared a few phone calls,” KC clarified.
Thankfully, her on-screen husband was far more supportive than Michael’s ex-wife was.
“I went for lunch with Drew after filming the Today show and he asked if the rumours were true. I couldn’t lie to him, so I told him that we were dating,” she said. “Drew was nothing but supportive and agreed to keep it a secret. We finished off by having a glass of wine and toasting to the good times we had in the experiment.”
Drew also revealed in an Instagram Q&A that he’s happy she’s happy and wishes the couple the best of luck.

“I wish them all the best, good on them! I really hope they are happy. KC actually asked me if I’d had a problem with them going out and having a drink. KC and I didn’t work and I wanted her to go for it. I want her to be happy and I still care about her.”
And as for where things stand between KC and Drew at this point in time, the musician confirmed they’re on great terms.
“I think KC and I are in the best position we have ever been in since we met,” he said. It was super hard in the experiment and we weren’t each other’s type. It wasn’t fair on her and it wasn’t fair on me, but we’re good.”
