What is Étoile about?
Without spoiling the entire story, Étoile follows two prestigious ballet companies, one in New York and one in Paris, that agree to swap their lead dancers for a season to save both their programmes from going under.
With both of their ballet companies slowly losing their audiences, the principal dancer swap is one that is definitely high stakes. With both dancers reluctant to make the move, the decision sparks a snowball of tense personal and professional drama, further putting the future of their ballet companies at risk.

Who is the cast of Étoile?
Étoile boasts a talented and diverse cast that brings the ballet world to life. Leading the charge is Out of My Mind’s Luke Kirby, who stars as the New York-based ballet company leader, Jack McMillan, alongside his Parisian colleague Geneviève Lavigne, played by Charlotte Gainsbourg.
Alongside him is Charlotte Gainsbourg, adding depth and charisma to the Parisian side of the story, with Lou de Laâge and Ivan du Pontavice taking to the stage as lead dancers Cheyenne and Gabin.
