If you’ve been craving a legal drama, we have some good news! After a six-year hiatus, the world of Suits is *finally* returning to our screens for a new spin-off – Suits LA.
Following the unexpected resurgence of Suits’ popularity on streaming platforms, NBC gifted fans with a brand-new storyline centred around some of Hollywood’s biggest entertainment law dramas.

What is Suits LA about?
Suits LA centres around Ted Black, a former New York prosecutor who has relocated to Los Angeles to build a legal empire specialising in criminal and entertainment law.
Similarly to the OG series, the new episodes will follow Ted and his team at Black Lane Law as they navigate the complex world of high-profile cases and personal relationships in the City of Angels.
As Suits fans will soon learn, Ted has quite the reputation for being a charismatic force of nature who often puts his own needs above others (aka the perfect recipe for some lawyer drama).
While we don’t know too much yet about how the series will unfold, the official synopsis teases that “his firm is at a crisis point and, in order to survive, he must embrace a role he held in contempt his entire career.”
Who is the cast of Suits LA?
It wouldn’t be Suits without some inter-lawyer drama and, according to the first teasers of the series, “Ted is surrounded by a stellar group of characters who test their loyalties to both Ted and each other, while they can’t help but mix their personal and professional lives.”
Leading the new spin-off series as the ambitious Ted Blakc is Arrow star Stephen Amell. The Walking Dead star Josh McDermitt will also be venturing out to Los Angeles as Ted’s business partner Stuart Lane, while The First Purge’s Lex Scott Davis takes on the role of Erica Rollins, a savvy rising star at the firm
Also joining the cast is Junction’s Bryan Greenberg as Rick Dodson, Troy Winbush as former FBI agent Kevin, Alice Lee as Leah, Rachelle Goulding as Samantha, and Azita Ghanizada as Roslyn.
Excitingly for fans of the original series, Gabriel Macht is set to reprise his role as Harvey Specter for three episodes, potentially opening the door for more crossovers.
Despite initially not being overly keen to reprise his role, Gabriel told People ahead of the series’ release that his return as Harvey was entirely for the audience.
“I’m just doing it for the fans. I’m not doing it for me. I’ve done it 134 times. I’m not doing it for me,” he shared, later adding, “A couple of the episodes that I’ve read are really good. They’re right in line, and if you’re a fan of the show, you’re just going to fall right into it.”
