Bachelorette Nicole Campbell has already caught Locky Gilbert’s eye – but the professional dancer was sure the handsome Bachelor was about to send her home.

“When he gave me the triple threat rose on the first night, I was honestly in disbelief,” Campbell, 26, tells Who.
“Ten minutes before, I was literally crying in the bathroom because I thought he was going to send me home. Instead, he awarded me the three-date rose.”

That prize means she scored crucial time with Gilbert in the first week. Competitor Laura Calleri was less than pleased, though.
“I think he chose Nicole only because he was wowed by her energy and her colourful dancer’s outfit,” marketing coordinator Calleri, 24, tells Who.
“He should have chosen me, because I’m also a triple threat. I’m cute, sassy and funny.”

The fact she failed to score Gilbert’s triple threat rose left Calleri – and many of the other girls – feeling disheartened.
“I was pretty down when I didn’t score the rose,” she reveals. “I felt like I hadn’t done enough to impress him.
“It was my birthday, too, and I think it would’ve been a really great birthday present to have won it.”

Campbell says she “wasn’t aware” of any issues from the other women in the mansion.
“They were all super-supportive,” she says. “No-one had anything but nice things to say.”
But she admits that behind the scenes there could’ve been some jealousy. After all, the rose is a clear sign that Gilbert – who has admitted to Who he’s fallen “madly” in love – has his eye on the dancer from the outset.
“It gave me a massive advantage,” admits Campbell. “I felt very special.”
