It’s the reality show we’ve loved since it kicked off in 2013 and as The Bachelor Australia hits its 10th season, we’re looking back on how far the show – and its winners – have come.
Unlike other reality dating shows (ahem, Married At First Sight) there’s something undeniably wholesome about it and of the nine men who’ve looked for love, five are still with their chosen winner.
We’ve even seen a few weddings and babies as a result of these reality TV love stories, though there’s been a fair bit of heartache and drama too.
Keep scrolling to see where every single final couple is today.

Tim Robards and Anna Heinrich, season one
Australia’s first Bachelor was handsome chiropractor Tim who fell for criminal lawyer Anna on the show way back in 2013.
Following the show, the two were the ultimate poster couple and went on to tie the knot in June 2018 in a lavish Italian wedding. We’re still obsessed with all the wedding snaps even now!
The genetically-blessed couple also welcomed their first child in November 2020, a daughter named Elle.
They marked their fourth wedding anniversary in June 2022 and it’s hard to believe they’ve been together for almost a decade now.
Blake Garvey and Sam Frost, season two
After the success of the first season, fans went wild when real estate agent Blake popped the question to girl-next-door Sam in the 2014 season finale.
But alas, things went pear-shaped when the engagement was called off and Blake went on to date Louise Pillidge, who came in third place on the show.
These days the season two Bachelor, who ended things with Louise in 2016, seems to have dropped off the face of the earth and keeps a very low profile.
Meanwhile Sam Frost is a hosuehold name after the TV star appeared as Jasmine Delaney on iconic soap, Home and Away.
She also found new love, sparking engagement rumours with boyfriend Jordie Hansen in mid-2022.
Sam Wood and Snezana Markoski, season three
She was the first woman to step out of the limo to the Bachelor mansion and personal trainer Sam was instantly smitten with single mum Snezana.
After the two declared their love for one another on the 2015 finale, Snezana and daughter Eve moved from Perth to Sam’s hometown of Melbourne.
In October 2017, Sam and Snez’s first child together and Australia’s first Bachie baby was born, a daughter they named Willow.
The glamorous couple then tied the knot in November 2018 and in July 2019, baby girl Charlie was born.
They rounded out their family of six in 2022, welcoming daughter Harper four weeks early, but after a short stay in hospital she joined her parents and sisters at home.
Richie Strahan and Alex Nation, season four
He only made it to third place on the premiere season of The Bachelorette Australia with Sam Frost, but came back the following year as the 2016 Bachelor.
Fans were surprised when the rope technician chose single mum Alex Nation as his winner over Nikki Gogan, but the couple dated for a year before things soured.
They went through a tumultuous split, which they later discussed when they were thrown together on the second season of Bachelor in Paradise.
Now Richie is living in Perth and living his best single life, whilst Alex recently welcomed her second child with partner, Carson Jory.
Matty J and Laura Byrne, season five
Our hearts broke for him when Georgia Love dumped him on The Bachelorette but Matty ‘J’ Johnson found The One when he met jewellery designer Laura Byrne in 2017.
On a babymoon in Fiji back in April 2019, Matt popped the question to Laura and just two months later, the couple welcomed daughter Marlie-Mae.
In February 2021, Matty and Laura welcomed second daughter Lola into the world and planned to marry at the end of that year.
But COVID-19 threw a spanner in the works and the pair had to postpone multiple times, finally settling on a date at the end of 2022.
Nick Cummins and…no one, season six
Cheeky chap and rugby union star Nick Cummins took on the role in 2018 but in a series first, he chose neither Brittany Hockley nor Sophie Tieman in the finale – watch the video above.
Nick said he made the bombshell move because he didn’t want to lead either of them on, but that didn’t stop the fan backlash.
Luckily for the former footy star, he went on to find new love with Sydney socialite Alex George, whom he spent lockdown with through the COVID-19 pandemic.
Now the couple are expecting their first child together and couldn’t be happier, meanwhile Brittany is single and Sophie married her current partner in April 2022.
Matt Agnew and Chelsie McLeod, season seven
Astrophysicist Matt had the tough job to follow Nick’s controversial season, and it seemed like he’d found The One in chemical engineer Chelsie.
But after just two months, the couple called it quits with Matt citing in his statement: “It’s no one’s fault, it’s just life.”
Whilst Matt’s dog Pluto is the main love of his life these days, Chelsie is dating model Ricki Dehaan.
Locky Gilbert and Irena Srbinovska, season eight
They had to date with the COVID-19 pandemic raging in the background, but former Survivor star Locky found his happily ever after with nurse Irena, despite just days before saying he was in love with her and runner-up Bella Varelis.
But as the couple travelled around Australia together after the show aired, it was clear they were head over heels for each other.
“We have spoken about getting engaged, pretty much planned our next 5 years already and we would love to have some babies,” Irena said on Instagram in June 2021.
“Ideally we would love 2 kids…hoping for twins. Locky is super easy to talk to about marriage and babies, he is just as excited about our future as I am.”
And in June 2022 Locky put a ring on it, popping the question to Irena on a hike and presenting her with a stunning ring worth an estimated $30,000.
Jimmy Nicholson and Holly Kingston, season nine
The ratings for the 2021 season may not have been the highest, but it did end happily ever after for pilot Jimmy and marketing manager Holly.
Though he formed a connection with runner-up Brooke Cleal, fans could see there was something special between Jimmy and Holly from the get go.
“There have been some tough moments,” Holly admitted. “But for the most part, we’re just really lucky that our love story has been documented to show the kids one day. In a weird way, along with dad kissing other girls.”
After the show aired they moved in together in Sydney and have been making the most of travel after the pandemic, filming their 100 Honeymoons series in plenty of stunning locations.
