As Angie Kent wept while sharing one final kiss with the frontrunner, we too were blubbering messes, struggling to come to terms with his exit.

Since leaving the competition early due to his grandma’s passing, Ciarran revealed this morning that he hasn’t been able to get Angie off his mind and is hoping she’ll reach out to him if it doesn’t work out with this season’s winner.

“I haven’t been in contact with her yet,” he told The Kyle and Jackie O Show this morning. “I said to her when she wants to slide into my DMs then yeah if it doesn’t work out for her on the show.”

On the flip side, Bachie evictee Jamie Doran— who also joined his former co-star in the KIIS FM studio this morning— said he has no interest in reconnecting with the former Gogglebox Australia star.

“That ship has sailed. I would say no to her,” he admitted before a shocked Ciarran butted in saying: “I am baffled. If Angie rang me and said let’s have a crack, I would be like, straight up for it.”

Last night’s drama-filled episode was focused around the pair, with Ciarran’s exit coming after the horror cocktail party saw Angie dealing with Jamie’s allegations that Carlin Sterritt wasn’t there for the right reasonsThe blowback from that drama was too much for Ciarran.

“If I’m gonna be here, I want to be, like, the best version I can be for you,” a devastated Ciarran told a teary Angie. And with everything that’s going on, I honestly don’t feel like I can be.”

“This is the worst timing,” he continued. “I feel like we’ve got a connection. It’s really hard for me to do this… I’m not gonna lie. I’m definitely gonna regret doing this. I’ve really enjoyed what was going on between yourself and myself and… been a perfect match.”

Our hearts were breaking in time with Ciarran’s – and so was Angie’s.

“After everything that you’ve been through, and I really don’t want you to go, but I know that family comes first,” she comforted the blonde Brit.

After the episode aired, Ciarran took to his Instagram account to share some final words on his time in the Bachelorette mansion.

So as you all now know I’m no longer a part of the show or in the race for Angie’s heart!” he wrote. “Due to unforeseen family reasons, I had to make the choice of leaving. This was by far the hardest decision I had to make on here. Knowing that I had an amazing connection with Angie and then having to tell her I had to leave was just gut-wrenching.
