A “stressed out” Elly Miles has been keeping a huge secret from Matt Agnew… and she’s finally ready to expose it!
According to TV Week, the Bachelor frontrunner is set to have a very awkward chat with Matt this week, as she attempts to tell him that she’s long planned to travel across Europe with her sister for NINE weeks after filming wraps.
“We’re getting to the business end in the whole experience, and I obviously haven’t told Matt yet,” the fan favourite told the outlet. “I was like, I need to tell Matt, because I don’t want him to think [the holiday] is something I’m keeping from him.”

The affable nurse, who was pressured by producers to drop the bombshell, said that although she’s nervous to share the news with the astrophysicist, she knows it’s the right thing to do if she wants to win him over.
“I’m really liking this guy and I can see myself falling for him.”
While we’re not entirely sure how Matt will take the news, judging by their undeniable chemistry and his laid back nature, I think it’s safe to assume he won’t be perturbed.
This season, Elly has made a name for herself as one of the most loved contestants we’ve seen to date. As a result, former Bachelor star Sam Wood reckons she has what it takes to win Matt’s heart.
“Snez and I were saying the other day that we really like Elly, and she’s been real. Obviously, all the girls seem lovely, but I think she’s been one that just really stands out because she’s been so real,” the reality TV star told Popsugar. “he strikes me as the kind of guy that [being real’s] really important to him and he’s there for the right reasons too. So, I wouldn’t be surprised if they ended up [together], but it is The Bachelor, so you never know!”
Having scored the most one-on-one time with the hunky astrophysicist, their connection has continued to strengthen throughout the season. However, an insider recently told New Idea that Elly was given a head start, having crossed paths with Matt before the show began.
“Most of the girls knew Elly had history with Matt and it caused a lot of tension in the house,” the insider dished.
After the ladies caught on, the source claimed they confronted the 24-year-old about her history with Matt, however, she was adamant the rumours weren’t true.
“They eventually confronted her about it, and she denied the rumours, but everyone knew it had happened and started to despise her for having an unfair advantage. The whole thing really upset her.”
