The inaugural Australian season of The Challenge is underway and it looks like we may already know who will be the last one standing.

It’s Survivor meets Love Island… a group of famous faces must form cutthroat alliances to pass gruelling physical tests and survive eliminations, and there’s plenty of flirting and hook-ups along the way.

Yep, the relationship drama began from the offset. Within the first episode, The Bachelorette’s Ciarran Stott and Love Island’s Audrey Kanongara were “fooling around” in a shower despite having respective partners at home.

Since being booted from the show, Audrey told WHO that she and Ciarran “don’t speak at all”

“When everything happened, even though we were both in the same situation, I felt like I was consoling him. I was making sure he was okay,” she said to us.

“And I’m like, You are almost 30 years old and you’re acting like a child. I’m sitting here, 22, youngest in the house and I’m trying to make you feel better.

“And the girls came up to me and were like, ‘Why do you even care?’ And I was like, ‘You know what? You’ve got a point. I don’t know why I care.’ I should be worrying about myself.”

Pro-boxer Billy Dib, meanwhile, who was one of the first to be eliminated, told WHO that he wasn’t expecting the show to be so ‘hookup focused’.

“I was a little bit taken aback ’cause I never thought coming into (The Challenge) that it was going to be something like that,” the pro-boxer confessed. “I thought, it’s going to be a challenge show. I didn’t realise that people were going to be hooking up with people.”

Yet hooking up, they are. Well, channel 10 did say to form alliances.

So, just who has managed to successfully schmooze and fight their way to the end? It looks like we already have the answer.

It turns out that an editing fail may have revealed the final contestants left in the competition.

The mistake was a shot of a notebook that exposed the eliminations of Cyrell Paule, Jessica Brody, David Subritzky and Johnny Eastoe.

The blip comes after a source told the Daily Mail that Kiki and Ninja Warrior’s Troy Cullen win the show.

We guess we’ll have to wait and see what happens!
