Meet the actors playing the royal family in ‘The Crown’ season 3

The third season of Netflix’s The Crown is set to feature more key members of the royal family, with new cast members already confirmed.

Prince Charles will be played by 28-year-old actor Josh O’Connor, who has previously starred in the 2017 film God’s Own Country. O’Connor will play Queen Elizabeth’s oldest son in season 3 and 4.

The Queen’s Mother will be played by actress Marion Bailey, 67, known for the 2016 film Allied.

Call the Midwife’s actress Erin Doherty will play Princess Anne

Helena Bonham Carter plays Princess Anne for the new seasons, whilst Ben Daniels will be replacing Matthew Goode as her husband, Lord Snowdon.

Olivia Colman replaces Clair Foy as Queen Elizabeth.

The Crown season 3 is set to air in 2019.
