Ash Pollard was eliminated from the I’m A Celebrity jungle on Tuesday night, and has since revealed why she chose to be on the show.
Speaking of the charity she was supporting by appearing on the show, Beyond Blue, Pollard told the hosts that it was her uncle’s death that spurred her decision.
“I chose Beyond Blue because … a number of years ago my uncle committed suicide,” the former My Kitchen Rules contestant said.
“It’s not something that I’ve spoken openly about, ever. I just thought now is the time to speak openly about it and spread the word and really get behind a truly worthy cause.
“It’s a cause that truly means something to me, because every single day I miss my uncle,” she continued.
Pollard also shared her pick for who will win.
“I’ve got dibs right now on Casey. I want her to win purely because I think we need a queen of the jungle.”
