It’s Australia’s most glamorous night of the year, and after missing out on the event in 2020 and 2021, thanks to the pandemic, the Logies is making its grand return on June 19.

To celebrate, we are talking a wander down memory lane to look back at all the international stars who have walked the Logies red carpet.

From Hollywood royalty (including John Wayne and Joan Rivers) presenting awards, to the impressive performances by world-famous artists, the star-studded ceremony never fails to wow.

It really isn’t the TV WEEK Logies until an A-list singer or band take to the stage to perform. Who could forget the screaming masses in 2012 when former British boyband One Direction sung their smash hit What Makes You Beautiful, or when Katy Perry lit up the stage with her dance anthem Firework in 2011?

As one of The Voice Australia’s former judges, Kelly took along the 2018 winner, Sam Perry, who was on her team throughout the season. They even took to the stage together to sing.

Destiny’s Child

However, it wasn’t Kelly’s first time at the Logies, with the hit-maker stopping by the Logie Awards with her band, Destiny’s Child, in Melbourne back in 2002.

That 70s Show alum Wilmer Valderrama was touring Oz to spruik his show, NCIS, when he was invited to hit up the Logies at its first year on the Gold Coast in 2018.

One Direction

The squeals when British boy band One Direction arrived on the red carpet in 2012 were deafening. Crowds cheered them on as they sang What Makes You Beautiful before the event kicked off.

Host Bert Newton infamously made a gaffe when he said “I like the boy” while on stage with American boxer Muhammad Ali. The sporting legend attended the TV WEEK Logies in 1979.

Yep that’s the Fonze! Happy Days actor Henry Winkler attended the TV WEEK Logies in 1976.
