It was Ben and Vasil who lost the elimination battle against Mark and Lauren, despite earning a perfect 10 for their prawn entree.

Ben and Vasil were all laughs going into the cook.

‘We forgot one more snuggle on the couch, Lauren,’ Ben joked, referencing to their couch smooch and sleepover… while he was dating rival Roula.

‘I’ll be spooning you from now on, Vasil.’

Mark and Lauren got off to a terrible start.

They put what they thought were curry leaves into their ‘family curry,’ when in actual fact they packed their dish with at least 20 bay leaves.

But the brother-and-sister duo’s main course was a huge hit. That, along with their reasonable octopus entree and delicious lemon syrup cake dessert got them over the line and into the next round.

Ben and Vasil produced a nice steak and chimichurri main, but their chocolate creme caramel was a real dud for the other teams and judges.

‘It’s been a wild ride,’ Ben said, telling Vasil, ‘I’m proud of you, dog. Let’s carry it on. Let’s do this, bro. Back to the real world.’
