We all love to have a laugh, but there are some things that are never funny. Ever. The list includes sexuality, race and, of course, rape (just to name a few).
Unfortunately, the lead stars of Supernatural were not aware of this list when doing a Q&A at Creation Entertainment’s Official Supernatural Convention in New Orleans over the weekend.
During the event, a fan asked a question and Jensen Ackles responded: “I think she wants to hear our pickup lines.”
Jared Padalecki then leans over to Jensen and whispers something, after which Jensen responds with “no” (as in, don’t say that).
Fans pleaded with Jared to reveal what was said, but he admitted that the joke was “offensive.”
He eventually gives up and admits that he said: “does this rag smell like chloroform to you?”
Chloroform is a chemical that is used to knock people unconscious. Jared’s joke implies that he uses this method on girls that he wants to date.
Jensen replied to Jared with “no, Bill Cosby” (accused rapist).

Meanwhile, furious fans have taken to Twitter to blast the stars for making rape jokes, especially considering the current climate.
