They say the test of a long-term relationship is whether or not a couple can travel together.
Sophie Monk and Stu Laundy are already taking a huge step in the blossoming relationship, celebrating 2018 with their first overseas vacation in snowy Canada.
Monk, 37, and Laundy, 45, are also joined by the former Bardotsinger’s best friend, Oscar Gordon, while partying at the Silver Star mountain Resort.
There are some pretty crazy reports circulating that Sophie and Stu secretly tied the knot while in Canada. In a recent video on Monk’s Instagram, Laundy can be heard calling her his “bride,” according to news.com.au.
“I’m so proud of my bride,” he said as she and Gordon appeared in a dance around the fireplace.
Back in November, Sophie joked that Stu was in fact still technically married to his wife, despite being separated for four years.
Therefore, it’s very unlikely that these two are really married. However, it sounds like they’re moving in together very soon! The couple plan to divide their time between Sophie’s home on the Gold Coast and Stu’s residence in Sydney – where his four daughters also live and attend school they recently told the Kyle and Jackie O Show. “A base on the Gold Coast and a base in Sydney doesn’t seem that unrealistic,” Laundy said. “I have children though and I will always be around my kids. We are both mobile.”
