The beloved Australian songstress— who went public with her relationship in October 2018 after splitting with Ruby Rose— just took to Instagram to announce that her boyfriend of one year, Kai Carlton popped the question in Joshua Tree, California!
The pop sensation shared three photos from the adorable proposal, two which showed off her sparkling diamond ring and another selfie with her future husband!
“Happy 1 year & THE REST OF MY LIFE with you,” she captioned the happy snaps. “I’ve been happy crying for 2 hours. I’ve never felt so full.”
Kai also shared a close-up photo of the “Untouched” singer’s ring with his 41, 000 followers, captioning the post: “She said “yes” and I’m the happiest mf alive. @jessicaveronica here’s to a lifetime of love and memories. Thanks for being in my life ❤️”
While Jess is yet to share the intimate details of the proposal, it looks as though they’re currently enjoying a lush holiday in California, sharing a series of videos to her Instagram story showing the loved up pair playing board games, going for walks, sitting beside the fire and sharing a few smooches!
After confirming they were an item last year, the LA- LA-based singer and bartender publicly revealed his gender identity for the first time in June. The 22-year-old says he identifies as a trans man.
“Maybe I just don’t say it that much because I don’t see a reason to really say it socially. But I’m a trans male, so that’s why I am prideful,” he wrote on Instagram after a fan questioned why he participates in LGBTQI+ pride events.A trans male is a man who was assigned the female gender at birth.
