ORANGE IS THE NEW BROWN—a hilarious new sketch comedy series about race, politics and pop culture with a twist from Nazeem Hussain— is coming to Channel Seven later this year.
“This was a really fun show to make,” Nazeem says. “I got to see things I thought I’d never see. Kat Stewart dating a 95-year-old man, Tim Minchin arguing with Kamahl and Sigrid Thornton getting frisky with a skeleton.”
Poking fun at real-life modern Australia, the show features Urzila Carlson from the hit series Have You Been Paying Attention? alongside stand up sensation Becky Lucas, Matt Okine from The Other Guy and Broden Kelly.
Also making regular appearances will be Kat Stewart, Claudia Karvan, Tim Minchin, Gary Sweet, Firass Dirani and Sigrid Thornton.
The airing date of the show is yet to be confirmed.
