Venus Williams has officially tied the knot with her partner, Italian actor and model Andrea Preti, in a lavish wedding celebration in Palm Beach, Florida.
The couple’s union was marked by a five-day series of events culminating in a heartfelt ceremony over the weekend, which Venus shared on her Instagram account.
Venus, 45, a seven-time Grand Slam singles champion, and Andrea, 37, first met in 2024.
They confirmed their engagement earlier this year, and initially held a private wedding in Ischia, Italy, in September 2025.
Due to international paperwork delays, the Florida celebration served as an additional official ceremony with close family and friends.
The festivities in Palm Beach featured intimate gatherings, a courthouse wedding on December 19, and a larger reception with joyous moments and personal touches reflecting both their lives.
“I can’t describe how beautiful, calm, sacred, exciting, and exciting it was,” Venus told Vogue. “It was just a dream.”
At the reception, the pair made their entrance to Stevie Wonder’s hit song, ‘Signed, Sealed, Delivered’ and had their first dance to The Flamingos’ ‘I Only Have Eyes for You’.
The celebrations were highlighted by a special gesture from Venus’ sister, Serena Williams, who gifted the newlyweds a yacht for part of the festivities and helped host family and friends.
“Serena gave us this gift of a beautiful yacht, and she arranged all the food, everything,” Venus said.
“We had 10 to 12 of our closest family and friends who were in town on the boat, and we were singing, dancing, gossiping, and just enjoying each other.”
Venus wore 12 different dresses across the week.
“We all love each other so much,” Venus gushed. “It was just the happiest, most beautiful, sweetest day.”
