It’s safe to say that Katy Perry lives by the motto go big or go home.
From I Kissed A Girl to Swish Swish, the pop princess knows what her audience wants and boy, did she deliver! Performing to a sold out Qudos Bank Arena on August 14 and kicking off the final leg of her Aussie tour, Perry began her show in style. Dressed in a red glittery one piece and rocking some dark shades, the pop princess was backed by a gigantic video wall and hovering on a super-size star.
Her 21-song set was sprinkled with light-hearted chatter about her undying love for Sydney as well as imparting some wisdom to her young fans claiming, “don’t let anyone or anything clip your wings or wild your flowers.”
And while Celine Dion didn’t make a surprise appearance everyone left the stadium with a smile on their face, and that’s what makes her and her shows so great.
