Matty ‘J’ Johnson and Laura Byrne’s Bachelor love story may have been adorable, but their 18-month-old daughter Marlie-Mae takes the cake when it comes to cuteness.
On Tuesday, the proud parents shared a selection of photos from Marlie’s daycare and couldn’t help but comment on her supermodel attitude in front of the camera.
“I just put this on my stories but I think this little gem needs to be immortalised on the grid. When your toddler poses for her daycare photos like she’s an Instagram model. Slay queen slay,” Laura joked in her caption.
Matty, meanwhile, uploaded a trio of photos of Marlie and penned: “One minute you’re cutting the umbilical cord, next minute they’re directing their own photo shoot at daycare.”
Fans and followers gushed over Marlie’s sheer cuteness, but Matt’s post sparked debate in the comments section over who the toddler takes after.
“So cute. She looks like her Dad,” one penned.
“Matty J reincarnated,” stated another.
Others, however, said that Marlie is the spitting image of Laura.
“Love her dress…and so like her Mummy…. gorgeous photo’s… have a wonderful Christmas,” another fan wrote.
“She’s so cute and looks like her Mama,” remarked another.
Some reckoned Marlie was the perfect blend of both Matty and Laura.
“Who does the family reckon she looks more like? To me she is exactly 50% Laura and 50% Matty! All the best bits of both, obvs,” one follower sweetly pointed out.
“Gosh she’s 100% both of you!” exclaimed another.
“She is such a great mix of you and Laura.. but gotta say malaura,” joked a third.
Matty and Laura are expecting their second child, who is due in the new year.
Though they have opted to wait to find out if they’ll be having a boy or girl, Laura confessed on Instagram back in October that she’s getting strong “vibes” as to what gender their child will be.
“We don’t know if it’s a boy or a girl. We’re having a surprise,” she explained.
“But I’m getting very strong boy vibes, which means absolutely nothing because I also got very strong boy vibes when I had Marlie. So… It’s probably a girl.”
